A man in his 50s is said to have been stabbed with a sharp object at Torshov in Oslo on the night of Thursday.
– The person is described as having critical but not life-threatening injuries and has been taken to hospital, operations manager Eirik Sannes at the Oslo police district tells NRK.
The police have arrested two people who have been taken to custody. One is in his 40s and the other in his 50s, adds Sannes.
The incident took place in an apartment.
The police are on the scene and are working on technical and tactical investigations.
– We were notified of the incident at quarter to two on Thursday night, and we are on the scene with a significant number of resources, says operations manager Sannes.
It was the injured person who himself reported to the police.
– The person had sustained serious injuries and was taken care of by health immediately, says Tore Barstad, head of the Oslo police district, to NTB.
