Because he hit a colleague’s head with a hammer, a 21-year-old now has to answer before the Würzburg district court – accused of attempted manslaughter. The incident took place on the assembly line of a Würzburg waste disposal company last August. The defendant is said to have purposely shoveled dust on the belt in order to annoy colleagues with the cloud of dirt that was created, say witnesses. Because, according to witnesses, he did not stop despite being asked, a 35-year-old is said to have thrown something at him.
