Attacking midfielder Santiago Toloza was ruled out of joining the Independiente team that will face Arsenal this weekend, due to an ankle injury.

The midfielder, former Arsenal and barely 20 years old, had added a few minutes of filming in last Wednesday’s match with River Plate (0-3) at the Monumental de Núñez stadium.
However, the man from Cordoba had to work differently today in the ‘Red’ practice in Villa Domínico and it has already been clarified that he will not be in coach Carlos Tevez’s consideration for Sunday’s match at 9:00 p.m. with the relegated Arsenal, due to the eleventh date of the Professional League Cup (LPF).
Toloza suffered slightly from the serious sprain to his right ankle that he had suffered last September, during a match with Rosario Central (1-1), at the Gigante de Arroyito.

The other players who will remain out of the call for DT Tevez are the defender Ayrton Costa, with a worsening of the tear in his right femoral biceps, and the Uruguayan forward Martín Cauteruccio, who has not yet recovered from the Salmonella virus that attacked him and which forces him to still rest at home.
