Main Expert Staff of the Presidential Staff Office (KSP) Ali Mochtar Ngabalin was attacked by the Ummah Party after ‘installing bodies’ for the President Jokowi. But Ngabalin attacked by mentioning Amien Rais character failed.
The attack started when the Chairperson of the Syuro Council of the Ummat Party, Amien Rais, warned President Joko Widodo (Jokowi). Amien Rais’ warning was conveyed during the ‘Caring for Reformation’ event which was broadcast on his YouTube account as seen, Friday (21/5/2021). Amien Rais reminded Jokowi not to end his reign less elegantly.
Amien Rais spoke at length about the reform process 23 years ago. He then compared it with the current condition. According to Amien Rais, the current condition is much more precarious.
“The current corruption, collusion, nepotism, in my opinion, is even more serious. Corruption is still extraordinary, even the KPK has been investigated on its capabilities. Then the collusion of the rulers has become very strong, even the entrepreneurs dictate the rulers. Business dictates politics. The nepotism is also not foolish. Pak Jokowi’s son becomes the mayor, without any resistance, then the son-in-law is also extraordinary, “said Amien Rais.
Amien Rais then delivered a warning message to Jokowi. The former chairman of the MPR warned against ending his period of leadership well.
“So this is my message to Pak Jokowi, please, still in three years, you, think more deeply I seeBecause we saw Pak Harto as 32 years old, eventually resigned, then we as humans are very sorry. Moreover Bung Karno, the great leader of the revolution 9 years in power later also we know that it ended up like that. Then don’t let Pak Jokowi end up being less elegant, “said Amien Rais.
Ngabalin Post Bodies
Ngabalin defended Jokowi. According to him, Amien Rais was never satisfied with everything Jokowi had done.
“Yes, in Pak Amien’s view, what is good about Pak Jokowi is all bad. Everything is not elegant, all is not elegant in the eyes of Pak Amien. That’s right. Nothing good in Pak Amien’s eyes is from a Jokowi. I am not I know where, Mr. Amien’s dissatisfaction, I don’t know, “said Ngabalin when contacted, Friday (21/5/2021).
In principle, Ngabalin did not question Amien Rais’ criticism of President Jokowi. However, if there are words that are deemed inappropriate, Ngabalin leaves everything up to the public to judge.
“But if there are some diction used by Pak Amien related to the state’s urgency, comparing it with previous periods, then the question of nepotism or also including the oligarchs who are sontoloyo, he said, if that, let the public judge whether the statement is correct from Pak Amien Rais’ statement or not. We will leave it to the public, “said Ngabalin.
The Ummat Party Againsts Ngabalin
The Ummat Party did not accept Ngabalin’s words. The Ummat Party defended Amien Rais by leveraging Ngabalin’s position.
“It is very unfortunate that the words that came out of Ngabalin’s mouth were not as high as his position,” said Deputy Head of the General Ummah Party, Mozin, to reporters, Friday (21/5/2021).
Agung Mozin reminded Ngabalin to be careful with what he said. Mozin believed that the power of prayer can be turned on to the utter.
“I just remind you, be careful with your mouth, you have prayed badly to good people. For those of us who believe in the power of prayer, Ngabalin’s prayer to Amien Rais will soon come back to him,” he said.
Mozin then told about the power of prayer during the life of the Prophet Moses. The loyalist Amien Rais said that only the Creator knows what will happen to Ngabalin in the future.
“There is a story like the prayer of Balaam to the Prophet Moses at the request of a tyrant and it turns out that, by the power of God, the prayer goes back to those who did evil to the good people,” said Agung.
“So I invite all citizens who believe in the power of prayer, let us wait for what will happen to this human being, who loves the world too much and the power in his hands. Only Allah knows best. We’ll just wait, who knows when it will happen,” he added.
