KAMPUR, KOMPAS.TV – Monkeys in India are jailed for life in zoos for perpetrating aggressive and dangerous acts against local residents.
The monkey named Kalua went on a rampage in Mirzapur District and has attacked 250 people.
As reported Business Insider India quoted from World of Buzz, Kalua belonged to a local shaman who always gave him alcoholic drinks.

The monkey became addicted to alcohol, and when the owner died he did not get alcohol and became aggressive.
Kalua attacked and bit women and children. One of the victims who was bitten eventually died.
The six-year-old monkey has been arrested and imprisoned at the Kanpur Zoo since three years ago.
