Attacker Lev will return from Hradec Králové to Pilsen after the season

The 32-year-old Lev last worked in Pilsen in the 2016/17 season, before that he won the title with Škoda in 2013. After leaving, the former representative worked in Vítkovice and Komet Brno, and is currently completing his sixteenth season in the extra league. In this year, he played 42 matches for Hradec Králové, scored 15 goals and assisted on another 18. He has a total of 696 games and 330 points (159+171) in the extra league, including the playoffs.

“I always planned to return to Pilsen to be useful to the team, and not at an age when I would have nothing to offer,” Lev said on the club’s website.

He was said to have chosen from several offers, he decided to return to Pilsen after a personal meeting with club boss Martin Straka and sports manager Tomáš Vlasák. “I was interested in what role they would want from me in the team. And what I heard made absolute sense to me. We want team success with Pilsen and that is a priority for me,” said Lev.

Vlasák said that Lev should be one of the leaders of the cabin and the team, as is currently the case in the Hradec Králové engagement. “We want it to be available to the coaches and for the cabin to work, because only then can we be successful on the ice,” stated Vlasák.
