Attacked police station in suburb of Paris

Violent attack that night on the police station #Champigny by firing various mortars and projectiles. No policeman was injured.

No one was injured, police say. The incident took place around midnight. Several police vehicles were damaged. The glass entrance door to the police building was also damaged.

An investigation has been started into the attack on the police station. No one has been arrested for the time being.

Mayor Laurent Jeanne says that an accident with a scooter may have been the cause. The police station is in a neighborhood known for drug trafficking.
