The agency reported that “unidentified persons belonging to anti-revolutionary groups, in a despicable move at dawn on Saturday, burned tires in front of the gate of the consulate building at the embassy and caused partial damage to the gate.”
The source pointed out that the fire was extinguished minutes later after the police forces arrived and extinguished the fire, stressing that Iran had begun the necessary follow-ups with the French Foreign Ministry and police authorities to begin judicial investigations into the attack and reach its perpetrators.
