TVI journalist Pedro Bello Moraes is in the United States of America following the North American elections that will elect the future president. The race between Joe Biden and Donald Trump is tight and emotions are running high. These are already considered the most important elections in recent American history. In a divided country, positions tend to be extreme. Pedro Bello Moraes visited ‘Casa Trump’, located in Pennsylvania and a “sanctuary to republican values and Donald Trump”. During the election campaign period, the house received around 1,500 supporters from the president daily. Leslie Rossi is the owner of the house. It does not charge entries or admit questions that jeopardize your candidate’s reputation. Pedro Bello Moraes touched on a sensitive issue for Republican supporters when he said that Donald Trump does not pay taxes.
Leslie reacted immediately and stopped the interview. “This is over. Go to Hell. I don’t want you to use my comments. Erase everything. You just tell lies. If you’re a liberal, get out of here.”, attacked the Republican supporter making a xenophobic comment regarding the Portuguese journalist: “You are not even from my country and you ask me for liberal shit. I’m sick of you, get off my property.”
