In a thriller match in the final, PAOK escaped with Kamara’s goal in the 90′ from Peristeri with a 2-1 victory over Atromitos in the 3rd matchday of the Super League and with 3X3 they are at the top of the standings together with Olympiacos.
Atromitos entered the match stronger and threatened twice in the first quarter. The home team dominated the first half hour with PAOK equalizing after 30′ and in the 45′ thanks to a partnership between Constantelia and Soretire, the Englishman turned to Zifkovic who opened the score with a double effort and a header (0-1).
The 2nd half had no rhythm due to the many fouls by both teams. In the 66th minute, from a combination of Constantelia-Chalov, Zifkovic made it 0-2 but VAR (Sideropoulos) called the referee to see the phase and the goal was canceled for a foul at the beginning of the phase.
In the 83′, Warda made a cross, the ball found Kenziora’s hand and Atromitos won a penalty. Warda executed it and equalized 1-1 (85′). PAOK tried to get back in front and in the 90th minute, Mandi Kamara redeemed the “doubleheader” with a 1-2 from a free-kick by Despodov with a close header…
