The year started with a fair division of points for Atromitos and Aris: 1-1 in Peristeri.
Two miscalculations by the goalkeepers brought the first goals of the season. Atromitos’ Koselev tried to clear the ball after Mayo’s cross, but he sent the ball over the body of defender Brosson and Aris took the lead with an own goal in the 67th minute.
Seven minutes later, Questa clumsily fell on Mihorl’s body in a phase without much danger and the very good Warda took advantage of the penalty whistled by the referee Tsakalides: 1-1. The supremacy of Mars in the last minutes did not bear fruit.
Atromitos asked for a penalty in the 25th minute, when Veleth marked Athanasiou. Earlier (11′), Peristeriotes missed a double chance against Baku, while Fetfatsidis wasted a good moment for Aris in the 9th minute.
