This semi-final in Rome against Reilly Opelka was the 500^e Rafael Nadal’s match on clay. He becomes the first player to play at least 500 matches on two surfaces: ocher and hard. He won 458 of those famous 500 games. The man at the 13 Roland-Garros has therefore accumulated 91.6% of victories on clay since the start of his career. The Mallorcan wins more than 9 games out of 10. The numbers are totally crazy.

Rafa will play tomorrow his 33^e Masters 1000 final on clay. He lost only 7: one against Andy Murray, 2 against Roger Federer and… 4 against Novak Djokovic, whom he could find if the latter wins against Lorenzo Sonego.
