The American, winner of 32 titles during his career, including a US Open, recently had a rather friendly interaction with Roger Federer, his former opponent on the courts, who has just launched his range of rackets in collaboration with Wilson.
A Wimbledon final winner against Roddick in 2004, 2005 and 2009, Roger said the 2003 Wimbledon semi-final between them could have completely changed the history of their adversity.
“I think he probably would have beaten me in the semi-finals of Wimbledon in 2003, and what would have happened is I probably would have thought I couldn’t win Wimbledon and I would never have won Wimbledon. Anyway, Andy is a great guy, he knows it. He’s the best and I love his podcast too. »
