Beautiful proof of Lorenzo Musetti which arrives in the semifinals of the tournament ATP 500 in Hamburg.
The 20-year-old from Carrara, 62 ATP, defeated the Spaniard in the quarter-finals Alexander Davidovich Fokinan.35 of the ranking with the result of 64 63 playing a practically perfect match.
In the semifinal the blue will challenge Francisco Cerundolo class 1998 and n.30 in the world.
For Lorenzo this is the eighth time in his career among the best eight of an ATP tournament – the fourth in this 20022, the third in a “500”.
In the first set Lorenzo after having placed the break on 2 all (response game played in a spectacular way), gave up the bar in the next game with the Spaniard impacting on 3 all.
On 3 equal new break by Musetti who this time conceded only two points in the remaining two batting rounds, winning the fraction for 6 to 4.
In the second set the blue moved to 4 to 1 with a double break. The Spaniard removed a service from Musetti who on 4 to 3, 40 all and was at bat, took advantage of two consecutive errors by the Iberian to bring home the game and then on 3 to 5 the Spaniard, on service, made another 4 errors free.
In this way Lorenzo scored a new break and took home the game for 6 to 3.
