Atomic Heart Trapped in Limbo Expansion Receives Mixed Reviews: Epic Battles and Save Point Placement Criticized

The main Atomic Heart was actively praised by players in the West, but something went wrong with the new addition

The second expansion for Atomic Heart was recently released. The first players touched Trapped in Limbo (or “Prisoner of Limbo”) and not everyone was satisfied with the quality of Mundfish’s work.

After release Trapped in Limbo online Atomic Heart on Steam, where due to the exclusivity of VK Play the game was prohibited from being purchased by users from Russia and Belarus, grew more than 2 times (but had a low base). Until February 6 online reached about 700 people, and after that the record was 1638.

Reviews for Atomic Heart Trapped in Limbo are mixed, closer to negative (about 56% negative reviews). Players are unhappy with the lack of epic battle scenes, and also criticize the placement of save points.

This time the developers offered not only battles, but also gameplay in the spirit of CS Surf (at some moments you need to “ride” around locations; below in the video you can see a similar moment at 57:30). Also, one of the players pointed out that saves can be deleted.

First addition Annihilation Instinct (or Extermination Instinct) was received better by players, with mostly positive reviews on Steam.
