Rebellion, known for its Sniper Elite series (new game already announced), provided a new trailer Atomfall – a post-apocalyptic first-person survival game. It was confirmed that the game will launch in March 2025 at the Xbox@gamescom event.
In the new gameplay video, the player starts by visiting a phone booth, getting the task of killing a certain “Oberon”. Next, he goes to Windscale, a city where different characters live. Some of them offer tasks and help in return, maybe even offer a way to salvation.
Choosing who to trust is important, as random communication can block important stories. The player can complete the game by killing all the characters, or not killing anyone – the choice is completely ours.
The combat in the game will be brutal and players will be able to use a variety of weapons, such as disposable cricket bats and guns. The game also provides the ability to knock down enemies with blows. One interesting feature involves threatening an unarmed enemy with a weapon, who can surrender by raising his hands – a good way to avoid unnecessary bloodshed if the enemy is not tearing you
Atomfall released on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series and Xbox One. In the meantime, you can add the game to your favorite Steam.
