JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – PDI-P Deputy Secretary General (Wasekjen) Utut Adianto revealed the atmosphere of spiritual confusion that occurred within PDI-P regarding the latest political dynamics.
The latest political dynamics occurring in PDI-P is the departure of senior politician Maruarar Sirait.
Utut made an analogy as if PDI-P was competing in a Formula 1 car race where approaching the finish line, the corners became sharper.
“We have done all the levels, each level has stages and bends and the corners get sharper and sharper,” said Utut when met at the Senayan Parliament Complex, Jakarta, Tuesday (16/1/2024).

Utut said, if you look at the Formula 1 race, towards the finish line there will be a lot of dynamics.
Likewise, according to Utut, the PDI-P is now felt one month before the 2024 general election (Pemilu).
“In Formula 1 car racing, the last laps, the last laps that make someone win or not are determination and skill at the wheel,” said the chairman of the PDI-P faction of the DPR.
Asked whether the departure of Maruarar Sirait meant that PDI-P was no longer solid, Utut denied this view.

According to him, currently the PDI-P is strengthening consolidation considering that the 2024 election voting time is getting closer.
“For PDI-P, friends, we have paid attention to consolidation most often. If you remember, Saturday, June 24 at GBK in the context of Bung Karno Month, we had a National Working Meeting until October 1 and at every National Working Meeting the President was present. Yesterday we also celebrated the anniversary ( birthday),” said Utut.
As previously reported, Maruarar Sirait decided to leave PDI-P on Monday, January 15 2024, yesterday.
In his considerations, Maruarar said he would follow in the footsteps of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi).
