Although ATLUS has accidentally leaked “Persona 3 Remake” (P3R) and “Persona 5 Strategy Edition” (P5T) a few days ago, the real focus is on today’s (12) Xbox Showcase, ATLUS ’s Studio Zero team officially released the new work “Metaphor: ReFantazio” (Metaphor: ReFantazio).
This work is a new work conceived by Hashino Katsura, the director of “Persona” 3~5 generations, and other members in the company after handing over the “Persona” series. Although it is claimed that this game has nothing to do with “Persona” and “Shin Megami Tensei”. But in this preview, it seems that a little bit of these works can still be seen.
What is surprising at present is that according to the official website, the platforms launched by “P3R”, “P5T” and “Metaphor: ReFantazio” are only Xbox Series X|S and PC. None of these three works have PS or NS versions. Whether they are exclusive for a limited time, or just haven’t been updated yet, has yet to be officially announced.
“P5T” is expected to be launched on November 17, 2023, “P3R” will be launched in early 2024, and “Metaphor: ReFantazio” is expected to be launched within 2024. It seems that ATLUS has been squatting for a while, and the next year will be quite lively.
