Atlus would still be interested in taking their franchises to Xboxthis according to a recurring annual survey shared by the publisher on its Twitter account.

Even though Xbox has a wide variety of Western RPGs like Fallout, The Elder Scrolls and Dragon Age on its roster, it’s no secret that many of the best Japanese RPGs haven’t seen the light of day on Microsoft consoles. Franchises like Persona, Shin Megami Tensei and even the very Final Fantasy they have had exclusivity contracts – complete or limited – with PlayStation and Nintendo, both companies of Japanese origin.

But this could change. In the aforementioned survey, which Altus conducts every year, a series of multiple-choice questions about Atlus franchises were found. And among the answers there is one that dictates “I would like to play it on Xbox”. In case you want to give your feedback, we leave you the link to the survey here.

Of course, this does not ensure that Atlus games will come to Xbox yes or yes. A similar survey was conducted last year. which didn’t deliver the results some Xbox fans were hoping for. But it does show that after decades of publishing almost all of its games on PlayStation or Nintendo consoles (and even PC), there would finally be interest from the publisher in reaching a new audience. And who knows, maybe this is the first step for us to see titles like the excellent Persona 5 on Game Pass. Let’s hope so.
