Spanish League Standings very tight on the top. Atletico Madrid top, being stalked by Real Madrid, and Barcelona.
Atletico failed to get full points when hosted by Real Betis, Monday (12/4/2021) in the morning WIB. Yannick Carrasco’s quick goal in the fifth minute put Los Colchoneros in front.
Real Betis equalized in the 20th minute. Cristian Tello who scored the ball into the Atletico goal.
With the addition of this one point, Atletico shifted Madrid from the top position of the Spanish League standings. Diego Simeone’s team collected 67 points.
The day before, Madrid overthrew Barcelona with a final score of 2-1 in a match which took place at the Alfredo Di Stefano Stadium. Goals from Karim Benzema and Toni Kroos were countered once by Oscar Mingueza.
Madrid also took second place Spanish League Standings with 66 points. The defeat to Los Blancos kept Los Cules stuck at 65.
In the remaining eight Spanish League matches this season, Barcelona will still face Atletico. The match at the Camp Nou on May 9 could determine the champions of the Spanish League this season.
On the other hand, Madrid will also face some tough opponents. Sevilla and Athletic Bilbao for example.
Sevilla can also increase the competition for the Spanish League title. Los Rojiblancos will fight Celta Vigo on Tuesday (13/4/2021) in the morning WIB.
Currently, Sevilla sits in fourth place in the Spanish League standings with a collection of 58 points. If you can win, their points are only 6 points away from Atletico, who top the Spanish League standings.
