Two Atletico fans, aged 25 and 33, were arrested on Saturday night (3) on suspicion of trying to invade the Arena do Galo pitch, in the California neighborhood, in the Northwest Region of Belo Horizonte, during the Atlético-MG X Cruzeiro game.
According to the Military Police (PM) report, around 40 minutes into the second half, after Cruzeiro’s first goal, a group of people tried to jump over the security fence, in front of Setor Sul, where there was a organized Galo fans.
According to the police record, to prevent the invasion of the pitch, the military police contained the fans and subdued the two suspects, who were arrested. It was not necessary to use handcuffs and there were no injuries.
They were taken to testify at a Civil Police station.
