Atlético Madrid: Two players exchanged for Vlahovic?

Atlético Madrid wants to strengthen its attack. Dusan Vlahovic is a track studied but difficult to achieve. The Spanish club hopes to convince Juventus Turin by offering two starters.

Indeed, according to Transfer market, the Spanish club would like to secure the services of Dusan Valhovic. The 23-year-old Serbian would give a facelift to the Madrid attack by taking the place of Alvaro Morata (31), alongside Antoine Griezmann. However, this path is expensive since the striker joined Juventus in the summer of 2022 for more than 80 million euros and the Bianconeri would not see themselves parting with it for less than 70 million euros. It should also be added that the left-hander receives an annual salary of 10 million euros.

Interesting proposals for Juve

To lower this cost, Atlético Madrid would like to include two players in the transaction: Alvaro Morata and Rodrigo De Paul. Morata would come to fill the departure of Vlahovic. Moreover, the Spanish striker would not be against the idea of ​​returning to Juventus Turin where he revealed himself during his first stint from 2014 to 2016. He spent two more years there between 2020 and 2022. In his career, Morata has gone back and forth a lot between Real Madrid, Juventus, Chelsea and Atlético Madrid but it was in Turin that the 31-year-old seemed to flourish the most.

The Rodrigo De Paul option is also interesting for the Italian club. With the suspensions of Paul Pogba and Nicolo Fagioli, Juve finds itself with a sparse midfield and therefore multiplies the avenues to strengthen yourself this winter. De Paul is also one of the names that has appeared several times in the Italian press just like Khephren Thuram (OGC Nice), Kalvin Phillips (Manchester City) or Pierre-Emile Hojberg (Tottenham).
