Atletico Madrid Identifies Derby Rioter Amidst Ongoing Punishments for Crowd Disturbances

News reports revealed that Atletico Madrid has identified a new person among the people involved in the riots that took place in the Madrid derby in the Spanish League.

The Madrid derby, hosted by Atletico at the end of last month, saw crowd disturbances, which led to the game being stopped for more than a quarter of an hour, after fans “bottles and lights” throw at Real Madrid players.

According to the report published by the Spanish newspaper “Relevo”, sources close to the administration of Atletico Madrid confirmed that the fourth person involved in these events has been identified, and that the administration will continue to proceed to suspend and permanently expel his membership.

For its part, the Disciplinary Committee of the Spanish Football Federation decided last Wednesday to punish Atletico Madrid and close the lower part of its stadium for three matches.

It is worth noting that Atletico Madrid is in third place in the La Liga standings with 17 points, four points behind Real Madrid, which is in second place, while Barcelona leads with 24 points.
