Artist and “Beat for beat” host Atle Pettersen (32) and his wife Cathrine Eide (31) have become parents to a little girl. He reveals this himself on Instagram:
“Hello, world,” he writes under a picture of a baby hand holding his finger.
– It’s very big! Everything went well with the birth and everyone is fine, Pettersen writes in an SMS to Dagbladet, and adds:
– Cathrine was completely raw!
The artist also reveals the little girl’s name:
– Her name will be Demi.

According to SSB There are only 29 women in all of Norway who have Demi as their first name. The new parents have thus chosen a rather unusual baby name for their firstborn.
It was in September that the artist announced “Good evening Norway” that he would become a father for the first time.
– Hushed on me during the birth
– Cathrine and I are expecting our first child this December and we are really looking forward to the new and exciting time to come, Pettersen said at the time.
The happy news he also confirmed on Instagram:
“We are looking forward to Christmas this year,” he wrote under a picture of himself and his girlfriend, who has a clear baby belly.
The term should be close to Christmas Eve, which it also seems to be.

Moved out of town
This summer, Pettersen was able to reveal Dagbladet that the two had put the apartment in Bjørvika in Oslo up for sale, and that they now was to move “a little out of town.”
The move was not planned at all, and with the baby novelty, it is conceivable that the two wanted a little more space precisely because they were going to be three.
Reveals cottage purchases
– We had no plan to sell it, we are very happy with it and thrive very well there. But then we came across an object with a good deal that we were very happy about, Pettersen said then.

The couple met during Pettersen’s “Skal vi danse” participation in 2011, when Eide was a journalist for TV 2. She now works as an information press manager in the Norwegian Cancer Society.
