Atlantia down in Piazza Affari. Conte: “There is stalemate”. De Micheli: “More likely revocation? I think so”

MILANO – Weak seat for Atlantia in Piazza Affari. The title (follow live) in the morning yields a few tenths of a point going against the general trend of the index, rising well in the wake of optimism for a possible agreement in the US on the stimulus plan for the economy.

The nervousness expressed by the government after the holding did not offer the required reassurances by the deadline set for yesterday regarding compliance with the agreements made in July conditioned the performance of the share. For this reason, the executive would have granted a sort of extra time for the negotiations, however suggesting that if the company controlled by the Benetton family does not come closer, it will return to focus on the option of revoking the concession.

Conte: “There is stalemate”

“On Autostrade yesterday the news filtered, I saw it published today in the newspapers: there was a technical update meeting by the government delegates who are following the negotiations. It seems to me that there is a stalemate: at this point the question returns to the council of ministers, to the first council of ministers useful for the consequent evaluations, the president of the council, Giuseppe Conte, said today when asked if there was a move towards the revocation of the motorway concessions to Aspi.
“I won’t add anything else – said Conte – it is a listed company, there is a share on the stock exchange”.

De Micheli: “More likely revocation? I think so”

Pessimism also filters through the words of the Minister for Infrastructure Paola De Micheli. Answering the question whether the revocation of the concession to Aspi was now more likely, he replied “I think so”.
