Atlanta wins Act I in New York

Clint Capela and the Hawks got off to an ideal start in the NBA play-offs.

Atlanta went to win 107-105 Sunday on the floor of the New York Knicks in the first game of this first round of the Eastern Conference.

Trae Young netted the victory basket 0”9 from the buzzer, much to the dismay of the roughly 15,000 loud Knicks fans at Madison Square Garden. The leader of Atlanta was also the great man of the game, accumulating 32 points, 10 assists and 7 rebounds.

Clint Capela was hardly illustrated on the offensive plan, scoring 9 points (4 of 7 shooting). But the Geneva interior of the Hawks as always knew how to respond present in defense, finishing best rebounder of this meeting with 13 catches while succeeding 2 blocks.

The Knicks, whose best player Julius Randle had to settle for 15 points (6 of 23 shooting!) And 12 rebounds, took a blow to the head. Victorious of the three duels delivered in the regular season by the two teams, the New York franchise inevitably hoped for better for its first play-off game since 2013. It will already have almost no room for error on Wednesday for the act II.
