The Atlanta Hawks are likely to sign Serbian international Bogdan Bogdanovic with a new contract. According to US media reports, the Guard is signing for four years and is expected to earn $68 million (€64.1 million).
According to the reports, the 30-year-old has previously turned down a contract option for next season that would reportedly have brought him $18 million. Instead, the exceptional player sought a long-term deal, which he should now receive.
Bogdanovic, who comes mostly off the bench with the Hawks this season, moved from the Sacramento Kings to Atlanta in 2020 and surprisingly reached the Conference Finals with the team in 2021. In the current season he averages 14.1 points per game.
