The tennis pros Peter Gojowczyk (Munich) and Dominik Koepfer (Furtwangen) were eliminated in the first round of the ATP tournament in Atlanta/Georgia.
Gojowczyk lost to Frenchman Adrian Mannarino 3:6, 6:7 (7:9), Koepfer lost to James Duckworth from Australia 1:6, 7:6 (7:5), 3:6.
Mannarino had previously replaced Wimbledon finalist Nick Kyrgios (Australia), who had been forced to withdraw due to knee problems.
