Atlanta dominates Detroit again

Atlanta scored its second win in three days against Detroit in the NBA on Friday. Clint Capela and his teammates beat the Pistons 136-112 at Michigan.

The Hawks forced the decision in a second half to win 67-45, while leading by just two points (69-67) at half-time. Scoring 35 points on Wednesday in the first duel between the two teams, Trae Young scored 36 this time, adding 12 assists.

Clint Capela remained discreet on the offensive level, scoring only 5 points (2/6 shots, 1/3 free). But the Hawks’ inside of Geneva played their part in defense, capturing 8 rebounds (11 in total) and blocking 2 opponent shots. Pivot No. 2 of Atlanta, Onyeka Okongwu meanwhile shone in attack (16 points).

The Hawks, who beat Detroit 118-113 on Wednesday, had a record of four wins to one loss at the end of this bout. It continues on Saturday evening with a trip to Milwaukee to challenge Giannis Antetokounmpo’s Bucks, the only team still undefeated this season.
