These USA championships sound like the great rehearsal of the world championships scheduled for mid-July at this same stadium in Eugene.

Throughout this weekend, the American athletes will have to fight to obtain a podium, synonymous with qualifications for these world championships. The chrono could well panic!

Friday, June 24

Already successful big times for example in series of 100m hurdles with the 12’41 of Alaysha Johnson. Heavy also on the 1/2 of the 100m ladies with 10’81 for Aleia Hobbs and 10’82 for Melissa Jefferson.

Fred Kerley is also a hit in 1/2 of the men’s 100m by signing a huge 9’76, MPM 2022, ahead of Bromell 9’81, Bracy-Williams 9’86 and Coleman 9.87.

Sydney McLaughlin also announced the color with a super 52’90 over 400m hurdles and Michael Norman finished his 1/2 of the 400m with an excellent 44’28.
