The Africans shone in the 100m at the Meeting de Montreuil which was held in France yesterday Tuesday, June 1, 2021, by winning the first two places. Ivorian Marie-Josée Ta Lou won gold, while Gina Bass, Gambian, came in second.
Admittedly, it is not her best performance, but it is still a comforting first place for Marie-Josée Ta Lou. With a time of 11.06, it won at the Montreuil meeting. She is thus calmly continuing her preparation for the next Tokyo Olympics.
Ta Lou is followed by the Gambian Gina Bass who sets a time of 11.30 and settles on the second step of the podium with the silver medal. Finally, on the last step of the podium, we find the Swiss Salomé Kora who clocked 11 ”36.
