She is one of the most popular sportswomen in our country, who became famous not only for her outstanding results, but also for her sharp tongue. In Kuba Wojewódzki’s program, athlete Ewa Swoboda confessed that there are no topics for her that she is afraid to talk about.
Eva Swoboda is one of the most talented and successful young track and field athletes in Poland. Specializing in sprints, especially in the 60 and 100 meters, she gained international recognition thanks to her dynamic starts and impressive speed. In 2019, she won the gold medal in the European Indoor Championships in Glasgow, this year she became a silver medalist. She is one of the key figures in Polish track and field. It is no wonder that she was also a favourite at this year’s Olympic Games in Paris. Unfortunately, the 27-year-old was just 0.01 seconds short of making it to the finals. She ultimately finished 9th at the Olympics.
It’s not just her sporting achievements that have brought Ewa a lot of popularity. The 27-year-old is also known for her sharp tongue and honest opinions. An example? After finishing the race at the Olympic Games in Paris and advancing to the semi-finals, she told journalists: “We’ll talk tomorrow, I got my period. But write that I’m f**king happy.” The athlete has proven more than once that she says what she thinks, and now she confirmed it by taking part in the TVN program “Kuba Wojewódzki.”
Ewa Swoboda makes a sincere confession on Kuba Wojewódzki’s show
Yesterday, the premiere of the new episode of “Kuba Wojewódzki” took place on TVN, where the artist Szymon Sobel and athlete Ewa Swoboda sat on the famous couch. Right at the beginning, she confessed: “I try to be honest, unfortunately I can’t hide my emotions. (…) Running gives me so many emotions and you can’t just hide them (…) I go in, I cry, I’m happy or I’m sad.”
Swoboda also mentioned her defeat at this year’s Olympic Games. She is indeed not afraid to talk about her emotions, as she admitted that it stressed her out a lot when things didn’t go the way she wanted. “Our sport is measurable, you have to be ready to lose by a fingernail, by the blink of an eye. But it fucking hurts. It just hurts, it’s frustrating and you know there’s nothing you can really do about it”, she told Kuba Wojewódzki.
Ewa also shared a rather shocking confession and revealed that when she was a teenager she was accused of being a man. When the host of the program asked how she felt about it, Swoboda replied in a voice full of emotion that it was briefly: “bad”. She then mentioned that “an older gentleman approached my trainer and said that I was a boy”. She admitted that due to the omnipresent hate, she wanted to give up running at some point, but fortunately she managed it. Fans and viewers loved Ewa Swoboda not only for her results, but also for the fact that – as she herself admitted – there are no taboo subjects for her.
