Seven minutes into the second half, the reserve players of the Santa Catarina club were warming up in front of the Brasil-RS fans, when right-back Edilson told the other athletes that he had heard racist words directed at defender Sandro. The pair notified the delegate of the departure. Then the Military Brigade went to the scene.
