American Airlines will launch its 2021 summer season with a new direct flight between Athens and New York. The new route will be on a Boeing 777-200 from June 3, 2021.
All service classes (Economy, Premium Economy and Business) will be able to access the WiFi service and the in-flight entertainment service.
The new American route to Athens is an important step for the strategic alliance of the American carrier with the airline company Jet Blue. It should not be forgotten that this cooperation should increase interconnectivity and access to the largest network on the northeast side of the country.

The flight will depart Eleftherios Venizelos at 11:00 a.m. and arrive in New York at 3:05 p.m. Likewise, the departure from New York will be at 4:20 p.m. and the arrival in Athens is estimated at 8:50 a.m.
It should be remembered that American is the first American airline to adopt the VeriFLY platform which offers an easy way to submit a negative result of the coronavirus (COVID-19) test, as well as other completed documents required by all international travel destinations to the United States of America.
By hoping that by then the new American President Joe Biden will authorize the Europeans and therefore the Greeks to go to the USA.
