Athens Kallithea was better in the Leoforos match, leading 2-1 against Panathinaikos, however Tete with a goal in the 92nd minute gave his poor team a draw.
The first half of the Leoforos match was a… festival of attacking football with the newcomers opening the scoring and missing many classic chances, however the greens managed to equalise.
The Kallithea team pressed high, stole several balls and created cracks in the opposing defense.
In the 8th minute Drakovski blocked a shot by Demetrius, while in the 11th minute Pasalidis scored, but the goal did not count after the phase was checked by the VAR.
In the 13th minute, Uldrikis’ header went just wide, while in the next minute, Moutinho missed with a shot.
Athens Kallithea opened the scoring in the 28th minute. Demetrius stole the ball, curled in a cross and Moutinho made it 1-0 in an empty net.
In the 30th, Tete faced Bernabé, but was unable to beat him. In the 32nd minute, Djurisic equalized at 1-1 with a header.
Kallithea reacted and missed unique opportunities until the end of the half, while in the 36th minute they also had a goal with Diba. The chances were missed by Demetrius (36′), Ishimat (45’+3′), Matiya (45’+4′).
In the 58th minute, Dragovski blocked a shot by Motocs and in the 62nd minute, Uldrikis was off target. In 64′ Dragovski stopped Hanousek and in 66′ Bernabé saved Max’s shot.
In the 69th minute, Ioannidis found himself face-to-face with the Spanish goalkeeper, but was unable to beat him.
In the 80th minute, Athens Kallithea scored a second goal with Mathieu Valbuenas (2-1), who had entered the match as a substitute in the 71st minute. In the 82nd minute, Vagiannidis scored, but he was in an offside position.
The final result was shaped in the 92′ by Tete, while in the 95′ Dragovski beat Moutinho when he was in front of him.
Katsikogiannis showed a yellow card to Isimat, Pasalidis, Manthati, Hanousek, Jedvai, Djurisic.
