This was stated by the People’s Representative from BSP LEFT BULGARIA Atanas Merdzhanov from the parliamentary rostrum. He explained that a draft of the law was published on the portal for public consultations, in which on page 11 the proposals reach points “D”. “Suddenly, a new point “D” was added to the draft of the MC, which appeared at a meeting of the internal committee. According to her, the possibility of long-term residence after an investment of BGN 600,000 is reduced to BGN 100,000 or EUR 50,000,” explained the national representative. He recalled that similar debates took place in the previous two assemblies and when it came to changes in the law on foreigners, specialists from the interior and foreign ministries, justice, DANS, the state agency for refugees, especially in conditions of a wave of refugees, are always had their concerns. “The attitude of the employees in the special services is the same. All of them with reluctance and special precision look at each of the proposed changes”, commented Merdzhanov.
