Atalanta Bergamos up-and-coming player Andrea Rinaldi has died of a brain hemorrhage. This was announced by the Serie A club on Monday.
The Italian first division club Atalanta Bergamo mourns the loss of a youngster who died unexpectedly on Monday.
“Goodbye Andrea”, the association, with which the Swiss Remo Freuler is under contract, writes on its website. The 19-year-old young professional started his career at Atalanta Bergamo, but most recently played for AC Legnano in the fourth Italian league.
The Lombardy region is severely affected by the Corona virus, but the death of the player was not linked to it in the club announcement.
