“Atacama Reports 19 New Covid Cases, With 90 Active Cases and 3.13% Daily Positivity”

This Saturday, the Minsal reported 19 new cases of Covid in Atacama, of them 12 symptomatic, six without symptoms, one case reported by laboratory and 16 by antigen. In addition, 90 active cases were recorded at the regional level, with an incidence rate of 28.2, an indicator that continues to be the highest in the country per 100,000 inhabitants.

10 cases correspond to the Copiapó commune, 4 cases to the Caldera commune, 3 cases to the Vallenar commune, and 2 cases to the Tierra Amarilla commune.

After validation at the central level, 1 case was transferred to our region.

Daily positivity was 3.13%

In summary, Atacama reaches 120,497 accumulated cases of the pandemic to date.
