Traditionally, the competition on the Jēkabpils side takes place for two days, and this year both autocross and folk cruisers will gather on the track. Tomorrow, on July 17, 74 representatives of the Folk Racing and Cross Country Cup will compete on the track, but on Sunday, July 18, 84 autocross riders will continue fighting.

In this autocross season, great emphasis is placed on the growth of young athletes, so that in the near or distant future young motorists will be seen not only in the competition of Latvian motorsport competitions, but also outside the country. The test class for the youngest autocross riders is the Mini Buggies, which is the first step before the start in the highest buggy class or cabin test. The 2021 season will be opened with 14 representatives of this class, Latvian athletes, as well as competitors from Lithuania. Four athletes are preparing for their debut in their first competition: Emīlija Ūtēna, Kristers Eglītis, Jēkabs Linde and Markuss Žvagins and Klāvs Žvagins.
