At the weekend, 11 exciting games are heavily discounted

While it’s getting warmer outside these days, Steam’s weekends are strictly routine. Shortly before the upcoming summer sale, there will be another weekend sale on Steam, which will primarily benefit fans of multiplayer and co-op games. But those who are looking for Lego games should also take a look these days.

However, if you’d rather try out some free games, then there’s plenty of opportunity to do so this weekend as well. You can find out more about this in our video:

Chivalry 2 – We haven’t played such epic medieval battles in ages

Developer Torn Banner Studios took a really long time to develop the successor to Chivalry: Medieval Warfare. It took nine years for the second part of the medieval multiplayer game, which focuses primarily on knightly combat. Because it has its strengths Chivalry 2 at a short distance from the enemy, where the tactical combat system, which is quite tricky to master, reveals its numerous possibilities.

Admittedly, some fights can be won with blunt sword or ax blows. However, those who land precise blows, counter enemy attacks and dodge one or the other arrow have a higher chance of winning a duel. You should keep in mind that Chivalry 2 is not a simulation of medieval battles, but is primarily focused on entertaining fun, in which you can even throw chickens at your opponent’s head.

In the GameStar test, Chivalry 2 proved itself to be an entertaining multiplayer game in which both beginners and Chivalry veterans can enjoy themselves. So far, however, the second part has only been available in the Epic Games Store. In the meantime, however, this exclusivity is over, which is why you can now get Chivalry 2 on Steam – currently significantly cheaper and recently even with the possibility of a mounted fight.

More exciting offers for the weekend

But that’s not all of the weekend offers. We took a look at the weekend sale for you and selected a few highlights:

  • theHunter – Call of the Wild: If current shooters are too focused on action and adrenaline for you, then the hunting simulation might be more your thing. In a large open world you have to study animal behavior, weather events and other influences to hunt different animals. (5 euros, reduced by 75 percent)
  • Assassin’s Creed – Unity: If, like Fabiano, you have avoided the Assassin adventure during the time of the French Revolution, then you can currently do this for a few euros. (4 euros, reduced by 85 percent)
  • Lego Star Wars – The Skywalker Saga: The action-adventure that was released just a few months ago, in which you can replay episodes 1 to 9 with the typical humor of the Lego series, is available a little cheaper to match the upcoming series finale from Kenobi. (37 euros, reduced by 25 percent)
  • Lego Builder’s Journey: On the other hand, if you’re looking for a snazzy RTX demo then this puzzle game is for you. This offers almost photo-realistic graphics, as long as your graphics card cooperates. (8 euro, reduced by 50 percent)
  • Jurassic World Evolution 2: There are over 70 different prehistoric species in the sequel to the development game from developer Frontiers and you have to build a really cool dinosaur park with them. (30 euro, Reduced by 50 percent on Steam)
  • Frostpunk: One of the best 100 strategy games of all time, in which the morally difficult decisions play a huge role and you have to fight hard to survive. (7 euros, reduced by 75 percent)
  • Hell Let Loose: A challenging multiplayer shooter set in WWII setting, pitting up to 100 players in skirmishes with a focus on team play rather than lone wolf. (27 euros, reduced by 33 percent)
  • GTFO: Team play is also the top priority in this co-op shooter, because mistakes and wasted resources ensure that your mission against the monsters ends quickly. (30 euro, reduced by 25 percentalso playable for free on weekends)
  • Deep Rock Galactic: Also a co-op shooter and team play is also quite important, but here you slip into the shoes of sci-fi gnomes and shoot your way through procedurally generated caves to destroy nasty alien insects. (10 Euro, reduced by 67 percent)
  • Dragon’s Dogma – Dark Arisen: If you feel like trying out the Capcom role-playing game for yourself given the announcement of a second part, you can buy it much cheaper these days. (5 euros, reduced by 84 percent)
