In the Arcachon basin (Gironde), the ofborn of Pilat stretches for nearly 3 kilometers, between the ocean and the pines. No respite for this mountain of sand; even on this Christmas day, many people attempted the ascension. “It’s been a nice climb”, entrusts Christophe Saillard, a vacationer. Originally from Champagne, the Saillard family spends the holidays in Bordeaux. No way for her to miss the opportunity to climb the highest ofborn d’Europe.
To access this breathtaking view of the Arcachon basin, you have to deserve it: a climb of more than 100 meters, with compulsory mask to the top.
