Saturday, October 16, in prime time, on Ra1 at 20.35, the appointment with the most loved and followed dance show ever: Dancing with the Stars. The home and social audiences will be able to get back to being passionate about the exciting Saturday challenges. Milly Carlucci, once again, exceeded expectations by bringing a “stellar” cast to the stage of the Rai Auditorium of the Foro Italico, which already promises sparks on paper. Together with the lady of the TV, in this new edition, there will be the contagious energy of Paolo Belli and his Big Band. Thirteen VIPs, led by the historical masters of the program and by some new entries, real international dance stars, thirteen characters with a strong personality, ready to get involved to give the public a show not to be missed. Each of them will bring something new to the floor, not only potential and technique in the dance, but also aspects of the personality that never before had shown in public. Each couple will stage their personal journey, which will lead them episode after episode to the final of this 16th edition. These are the couples on the track: Andrea Iannone – Lucrezia Lando; Al Bano – Oxana Lebedew; Arisa – Vito Coppo-la; Alvise Rigo – Tove Villfor; Bianca Gascoigne – Simone Di Pasquale; Fabio Galante – Giada Lini; Federico Lauri – Anastasia Kuzmina; Memo Remigi – Maria Ermachkova; Mietta – Maykel Fonts; Morgan – Alessandra Tripoli; Sabrina Salerno – Samuel Peron; Valeria Fabrizi – Giordano Filippo; Valerio Rossi Albertini – Sara Di Vaira. Each of these couples at the end of the episode could be eliminated, but, all after a few weeks, they will have the opportunity to re-enter the race on condition, however, to continue studying with commitment and perseverance.
In the space dedicated to the “Dancer for a night”, Milly Carlucci for the first episode of this edition will host a true institution of Italian television: Pippo Baudo. The presenter par excellence, whose unmistakable style has entered the collective imagination of entire generations. Among other things, just awarded by the President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella of the honor of Knight of the Grand Cross of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic, Baudo will learn in a few hours an ad hoc choreography, to be performed during the live broadcast of the program. His performance will be evaluated by the jury present in the studio and the score obtained will be used to improve the ranking of one of the couples in the competition. Many confirmations, but also some news, for a program whose strength is to remain faithful to itself, but always with a breath of fresh air, always giving the public something different through its characters. Could not miss, Roberta Bruzzone, the well-known criminologist who from week to week will reveal some curiosities about the histrionic personalities of the new competitors. At his side in every episode there will be Alberto Matano, presenter of La Vita in Diretta. The novelty of this edition is the arrival on the track, in an unusual guise for her, by Alessandra Mussolini. An indispensable element of the Rai1 dance show is the most feared jury of Italian television, composed of Guillermo Mariotto, Fabio Canino, Ivan Zazzaroni, Selvaggia Lucarelli and led by the irreducible Carolyn Smith. Their opinion will be countered once again this year by a “people’s sworn”, Rossella Erra, who will have the opportunity to contest the votes and in one phase of the race to deny them by rewarding some of the “penalized” competitors. There will be many tests that the thirteen couples in the competition will face every Saturday evening: Caribbean, standard, Latin American dances, but also surprise tests that will serve to evaluate their degree of preparation, subjecting themselves to the evaluation of the jury of experts and of the popular one. . All the musical moments of each single episode will be entrusted to Paolo Belli and his Big Band, who will accompany, live, the performance of the dancers to the rhythm of tunes arranged according to the musical styles of each single competition.
