“We have our roadmap for the next 5 years” said Philippe LEQUIEN, Director of the establishment, and Doctor Nicole GUIDOT, President of the Establishment Medical Commission of the CHS of Sevrey. Explanations from info-chalon.com.
“It’s the Big Day” confided with a certain emotion Philippe Lequien, Director of the CHS of Sevrey, proud to present the document of some 130 pages, setting out the establishment project until 2028. “This is our worksheet. road and the fruit of a year of work in a very participatory approach, both on the side of caregivers and of the entire CHS team but also of patients” immediately clarified Doctor Nicole Guidot, head of the case. “It is inspired by practices implemented in Canada, but we are the first in France to apply such an approach putting the patient at the heart of the care pathway.”
“More than 300 professionals participated in the drafting of this establishment project. All of them contributed to the reflection that we are presenting to you.”
“Human at heart”
Nicole Guidot insisted on this approach placing “the patient as an author of his care, a humanist and partnership model in some way”. In order to allow the patient to regain their place in society, we advocate peer assistance.” The CHS of Sevrey intends to establish as fundamental “the rights and freedoms of the people supported on the basis of ethical reflection and good treatment” . A care pathway in which the patient finds himself a “co-author”.
It is from this prerequisite that the entire establishment project will be established. A central point allowing us to play on the attractiveness of younger caregivers, considering that the Sevrey CHS offers another way of caring, more respectful of everyone.
Better care that impacts the quality of life at work for caregivers.
3 axes drive the new establishment project, notably the sharing of expertise but also societal responsibility through the solidarity commitment of caregivers.
“A real therapeutic alliance of sorts, which is based on lived experience and patient experience.
So many subjects on which the establishment intends to rely to promote its attractiveness, among younger generations of caregivers, more inclined to undertake innovative care approaches.

[Interviewer] Welcome to World Today News! Today we have with us Philippe LEQUIEN, Director of the CHS of Sevrey, and Doctor Nicole GUIDOT, President of the Establishment Medical Commission of the CHS of Sevrey. Thank you for joining us.
[Interviewer] Philippe and Nicole, could you tell us more about the establishment project that you have presented?
[Philippe] Of course! As mentioned in the article, we have worked collaboratively for a year to create a 130-page document outlining our project for the next 5 years. This Roadmap sets out our goals and strategies for providing patient-centered care, which is inspired by practices implemented in Canada and puts the patient at the heart of the care pathway. The project involves over 300 professionals, and it aims to promote a patient-focused approach, with an emphasis on shared decision-making and peer support.
[Nicole] Building upon our core values of humanism and partnership, we want to ensure that patients become co-authors of their own care. By doing so, we hope to attract younger caregivers who share our vision for innovative and respectful approaches to care. Our establishment project includes three main axes: sharing of expertise, societal responsibility through solidarity commitment, and promoting a real therapeutic alliance based on lived experience.
[Interviewer] Interesting! So, how do you plan on implementing these changes and ensuring that they align with your mission of providing high-quality care?
[Philippe] We are committed to fostering collaboration among our team members and involving patients in key decision-making processes. We will also be focusing on training and development programs to equip our staff with the skills necessary to deliver patient-centred care. Moreover, we aim to engage with the local community to promote our new approach and attract more caregivers who share our values.
[Nicole] We will be implementing a new structure that places patients at the center of their care and encourages them to participate actively in their treatment plans. This includes creating opportunities for peer support and involving patients in the training of new caregivers. Our goal is to create a more personalized and holistic care experience for our patients, which we believe will not only improve
