An Estonian diplomat has also been caught at a “sex party” in Brussels in violation of the restrictions set to curb the Covid-19 epidemic, the Estonian Foreign Ministry has confirmed.
The Estonian newspaper Postimees reported this on Tuesday.
The Ministry has indicated that the diplomat participated in the party as a private person, as well as regretted that the diplomat had violated the restrictions set in Belgium. The name and position of the diplomat are not made public. Postimees writes that the work of a diplomat is related to the European Parliament.
It has already been reported that the party, which took place on Friday evening, attracted media attention when, following it, the mandate of a member of the European Parliament was terminated by the politician of the ruling Hungarian party “Fidesz”, Joseph Säder.
According to Belgian media, about 20 people were caught at a “sex party” in an apartment in the city center, most of them naked or half-naked. Due to virus control measures, more than four people are privately banned in Belgium. The police arrived at the apartment when neighbors complained about the noisy party.
Local media also report that two Polish diplomats were caught, while Säder, 59, stepped out the window when he arrived at the police and tried to escape by slipping down the gutter. Police found a drug – an “ecstasy” pill in Saeder’s backpack, but Sayer denied that it belonged to him.
Brussels prosecutors have confirmed to the AFP news agency that 20 men were caught at a party in the city center on Friday. Violators face a fine of € 250 for violating epidemic control measures.
