The Salon des Vignerons Indépendants returns to Dijon from October 15 to 17 at the Parc des Expositions. He could not stand last year because of the health crisis. The winegrowers are keen to meet their clients, both individuals and professionals, to promote their wines.
They are independent and they claim it! The independent winegrowers bring together nearly 6,000 men and women, proud of their work and their terroir.
Gathered under a common charter, they defend their passion and values. Nearly 350 winegrowers from Burgundy and the Jura are part of this network.
The Dijon trade fair relaunches the commercial season
The exhibitors are winegrowers from Burgundy and Jura terroirs and they will be able to introduce the wines of the following departments:
- Jura (Château Chalon, Côtes du Jura, L’Etoile, Macvin du Jura, Crémant du Jura …)
- Yonne (white Burgundy, red Burgundy, Petit Chablis, Chablis, Irancy, Crémant de Bourgogne …)
- Côte d’Or (Chorey-lès-Beaune, Beaune 1er Cru, Aloxe-Corton, Savigny-lès-Beaune 1er Cru, Pommard, Pommard 1er Cru, Bourgogne Hautes-Côtes de Beaune, Beaune 1er Cru “Clos des Mouches” White, Saint-Aubin 1er Cru, Mercurey, Chassagne-Montrachet, Santenay, Bourgogne, Nuits-Saint-Georges …)
- Saône-et-Loire (Saint-Amour, Moulin à Vent, Juliénas, Chènas, Bourgogne blanc, Montagny 1er Cru, Montagny, Bourgogne Aligoté, Bourgogne Pinot Noir, Crémant de Bourgogne, Viré-Clessé, Mâcon …)
After an edition deleted last year, this moment of reunion is eagerly awaited by winegrowers and their customers. The head of the Dijon fair, David Cachat, is delighted: “we have received emails from customers wondering if we will come, the cellars are starting to empty! Customers want to refuel. This year, we have all our editions: we will do Dijon, Nancy (from 5 to 7/11) and then Grenoble (from 26 to 28/11). At the start of the following year, we will have Arras and La Roche-sur-Foron! “
David Cachat is a winemaker in Ladoix-Serrigny (Côte-d’Or). His gaze is also that of the regional president of the independent winegrowers of Bourgogne-Franche-Comté over the previous year, which, despite the absence of wine fairs, was not catastrophic: “We worked well without the lounges, because the customers played along, they ordered from the estate, we shipped. We know that our buyers will come to the shows. “

Health crisis, climatic hazards … they resist!
Regarding the climatic hazards of the year 2021, the winegrower is more measured. Vineyards have been impacted by frosts and hailstorms and it is above all good stock management that will allow the commercial season to begin next year: “On the 2021 vintage, which will be marketed next year, it will be very heterogeneous. There are places on the reds, we made overall the same yields as last year, we will have an overall interesting vintage. , on the whites, it will be very complicated: the Chablis, the South Côte de Beaune, not much wine has been made. “
Here again, David Cachat relies on the loyalty of his customers “We will keep our private customers, as we do a lot of shows, the goal is to favor private individuals. Perhaps for export, they will have a little less of the 2021 vintage!”
