At the request of the public, the musical gathering of singing actors will also take place in February

Thanks to the great public response after the gathering of singing actors “A place on the deer is still free”, which took place in the crowded hall of the VEF Palace of Culture at the end of November, this concert program will be revived there on February 20 2023, according to the desire of the public.

Tickets for the musical meeting, which will see the participation of the Latvian National Theater actors Dita Lūriņa, Mārcis Maņjakovs, Egils Melbārdis and Ainārs Ančevskis, actress, composer and singer Zane Dombrovska, Liepāja Theater actress Karīna Tatarinova, actor of the Theater Daile Imants Strads as well as actor Andris Bērziņš, are already available and can be purchased at the “Bilešu paradīze” ticket offices.

“This concert will also contain songs from the stage shows we performed in: “I love you, Tu zini” and “Ir visumsa puteklis a person” from Zigmar Liepiņš’s musical drama “The Needle”, “Laura’s Song”, “Drue’s Song Song ”, “The Beggar’s Song”, as well as the duet of Carey and Hurstwood from the musical “Nurse Carey” by Raymond Paul, the song “Ja Tu man esi” from the musical drama by Z. Liepiņš “Adata”, the song “No, manis nav” from Jānis Lūsēns’ rock opera “Sphinx” and many other well-known pieces to the public,” says actress Dita Lūriņa, who is also the director of this concert program.

“Since most of the concert participants are not only theater colleagues, but also fellow students, we will certainly not back down and sing songs that have united us since our student years. Such a friendly meeting causes predictable and unpredictable duets, daring trios and all kinds of other combinations, so that the evening is exciting and fulfilling for you on stage and for the audience in the hall. And of course, the audience is invited to sing along with us!”

Accompanying band “ARmaestro” led by Anatolij Livcha will accompany this evening: Miķelis Vīte (drums), Viktors Veličko (double bass), Artūrs Kutepovs (guitar) and Anatolij Livcha (keyboards).
