Discussions between the administrator of the World Bank and Prime Minister Dogbé focused on the visit of the President of the Institution, David Malapass and the strengthening of cooperation between the world financial organization and Togo. The second audience went to the general manager of Green Industry Plast-Togo, Mr. Bemah Gado. Winner of the first prize in the Afri-Plastics-Challenge international competition, Mr. Gado went to present the head of government with the trophy won by his structure in Nairobi, as part of this competition.

According to him, the discussions with the Prime Minister focused in particular on subjects of general interest and the results of the visit of the President of the World Bank. Mr. Bello pointed out that the collaboration between the two parties is excellent and is materialized by various indicators that illustrate a perfect absorption and disbursement rate. According to him, this collaboration, being one of the best in Africa, perfectly meets the vision of the Head of State and the objectives of the National Development Plan (PND) aimed at supporting the modernization and diversification of the economy, on the one hand and on the other hand, the strengthening of the quality of the administration. The head of government, he said, welcomed the good collaboration between the two parties, while wishing to strengthen development in the various sectors such as energy and agriculture. In his opinion, the new country framework is being prepared and will make it possible to plan actions to see how to do more and better to support the President of the Republic in his vision with regard to the modernization of agriculture. A vision that wants to solve the problems related to youth employment, the inclusive economy and also food security across the sub-region.

The Canadian government, for its part, has decided to reduce the consequences of plastic waste at sea level. Named winner of the prize, Mr. Gado expressed his gratitude to the government, in particular to the Head of State, for the support he continues to show to Togolese youth, through the various mechanisms put in place, in order to promote the entrepreneurship. ” With the FAEIJ, which accompanies young people, we have now managed to put in place a structure that creates wealth and solutions for employability, especially for disadvantaged women who have difficulty accessing employment in key sectors of the Togolese economy.
