Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah explained the benefits offered by the “personal visa,” which allows citizens to invite their friends to the kingdom to perform Umrah.
The advantages of the visa lie in the possibility of submitting multiple applications for multiple guests at the same time, entering the Kingdom for multiple times or only once, and issuing it for one or more trips, as well as performing Umrah rituals and visiting the Prophet’s Mosque, religious sites and historical monuments, and sightseeing tours in all regions and cities of the Kingdom.
The validity of the “personal visa” for a single trip extends up to 90 days, with a similar duration of stay, while the validity of the multi-entry visa is 365 days, with a duration of 90 days.

And the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs had previously announced the mechanism for obtaining a “personal visit” visa, which allows visitors to enter the lands of the Kingdom to visit friends or acquaintances of Saudi nationals, while allowing the possibility of travel between regions and cities of the Kingdom, performing Umrah and visiting rituals. In Mecca and Medina, visiting religious and historical sites and participating in cultural events.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has specified that the visa application will take place through easy and convenient electronic passages on the “visa” platform website.
He explained that citizens of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia can invite their friends to visit Saudi Arabia and perform Umrah by submitting a personal visit request on the visa platform at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and requesting a “visit”. , serving people on the platform and logging in through the unified national access platform, and filling in the data for the subjects required to be invited. With the request for a personal visit, and the approval of the necessary commitments, the request will then be processed and a “personal visit visa document” issued, the data of which can be viewed through the “invitation request” information request service.
