in 2024 on February 24-25, the indoor archery championship of Lithuanian youth, juniors, young women and children was held at the training base of the Alytus archery club “Žaliasis lankas”. This time, the hosts of the hall, representing ASRC-Žaliasis lankas, showed not only hospitality, but also strong character – they became the leaders of the medal table and improved 2 national records.
More than half a dozen young archers from 6 Lithuanian clubs took part in the two-day competition. Athletes aged 8-18 tested their strength in three different groups of hoops. The best performance this time was organized by the local representatives of ASRC-Žaliasis lankas, who were distinguished not only by the abundance of medals. In the simple hoops U18 and U15 groups, 2 Lithuanian records fell, and Emilis Tamulionis and Gustas Bražinskas became their new owners. In total, Alytis won 11 medals and 3 championship titles. In the simple hoops U15 group, Amalija Ribinskaitė won the champion title, in the U18 girls’ group – Paulina Šidlovskytė, and in the U18 boys’ group, Emilis Tamulionis became the champion.
On March 10, the Lithuanian senior archery championship will be held in Alytus, and on March 16-17, the people of Alytus will go to test their strength in the main competition of the season – the Lithuanian archery championship, which will be held in Utena.
