While the 2021-2022 school year will only end on Thursday July 7, the Isadora dance school in Montluçon (Allier) is already preparing for the next one.
The end-of-year exam for the Danse-études and Tremplin du Jeune danseur courses will take place during a classical dance course with Isabelle Riddez, professor at the National Conservatory of Music and Dance (CNSMD) in Paris, on Saturday 14 and Sunday May 15.
An audition for participants not yet at the Isadora school
For young people who are not in these courses, the course will also be an opportunity to present the entrance audition in front of Isabelle Riddez, Alexandra Martin-Volcovici, Cathy Bisson and Caroline Roche, three teachers from the Isadora school.

In addition to the course which will allow these professionals to judge their level in classical dance, the applicants will have to present a variation “that is to say a sequence of movements of their own in the discipline of their choice, whether in dance classical, jazz or contemporary”, Alexandra Martin-Volcovici, director of the Isadora school and creator of the various courses in Montluçon.
At the end of this audition, we direct the accepted candidates towards the course that suits them and in which they will be able to progress the most with regard to their current level and their potential.

Adèle Cimbault, a 16-year-old young woman from Creus, will join the National Superior Dance Conservatory at the start of the school year.
“Students who like to work on dance”
Apart from the traditional Dance-Studies course, students can do a double course (classical and jazz). The Young Dancer’s Springboard is intended for teenagers who wish to join the major dance schools (Opéra school, CNSMD in Paris or Lyon).
The Springboard for Young Dancers is a personality course. The young people will do about twenty hours of dance per week. They have to like working on dance more than dancing.
